Bang Bang

Hey, hey, hey, look what I learned to do! I can do "Bang!" like Sunshade now, woo hoo! Dad taught me to do it and it didn't really take that long. We started off learning it from being in a "down" with dad using a treat to lure me onto my side. I had to lie still until I was told "OK" which is my cue that I'm allowed to move from whatever position I'm in.

He added in the "Bang" command when I was in the correct position & used a signal of 2 fingers pointing like a gun to get me to roll onto my side from being in a "down" position.

Once I understood that from a "down" I had to go on my side when dad did the "bang", we moved to doing it from a "sit". I picked this bit up pretty quickly. Hey, I'm an intelligent young boy, what can I say?!

From there we moved to doing it from a "stand" for the full effect. Like Sunshade I have improvised and added my own "dying swan" wobbling effects and grumbling "aaaahhh, I've been shot" noises. Who reckons Oscar deserves an Oscar, hehehe?

So here it is for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy. No Oscar's were harmed in the making of these films! Sorry they are a bit dark, but it was brrr freezing in the garden!

As my KC name is Sherifs Sundance Kid, I think it's a kind of appropriate cowboy stylee trick to have learned. When we go to my Airedale Club's fun day in September, I can put on my lovely "Woody" outfit (!) & do this trick - mum reckons I'll definitely win a prize!
