Hopefully you all saw that Faya left a thank you message on my blog for all your birthday wishes. It looks like she had a fantastic day, topped off with a hamburger à la Bogart, yummy!
One of the gifts I sent her was a red polka-dot bandanna to match mine as she always admires it. How cute does she look? She says I am her bandanna boy & she is my bandanna girl, aw.
Well, if further evidence was needed that we belong together, look what Mr Postie brought this morning? A gift from my girl! Soon Mr Postie is going to need a sack just for my mail!
I was eager to open the package to see what was inside, plus I could smell Faya's heavenly scent & it was g-o-o-d! Mum had to take the package off me as she saw there was a card inside which I was about to shred, whoops!
I'm very glad mum did rescue it, as it was a card with a simply beautiful photo inside. Phew, good call mum. I will treasure my photo forever.
My actual gift was a new bandanna! It's a special Swiss one with Edelweiss on it. Faya explained in her letter that they are a symbol of Switzerland. They grow on the mountains & are a protected species. How many of you are now singing the "Edelweiss" song from "The Sound of Music" like my mum is, hahaha!How do I look?
I wasn't that keen to post as I REALLY wanted to go & finish shredding the padded envelope, so sorry that the photo isn't great & I look a bit grouchy! Merci beaucoup Faya pour mon joli bandanna!
To finish, thought I'd share a photo of my din dins. Lamb heart, mushed up carrot, apple, peas & tomato & some yogurt, yummy!

Looking pretty swanky Oscar! You are a handsome pup and Faya is a lucky girl. I was most impressed with the way you pulled the tape off that envelope. You demonstrated excellent skill. Sophie's b-day is May 31. She will be 8 whole, giant years old!!!!!
