I have also tried to add some videos of Oscar playing at Seven Fields here which were saved in Video Egg, but they are appearing as black boxes and won't play. Maybe there's a blip with the site. I'll try again later.

Katy,
It's all a matter of perspective -- a little puncture on the cheek and a collar for a few weeks doesn't begin to compare with what you;ve experienced.
Thank you for stopping by -- we come visit often and love the Seven Fields images.
Just Harry
dear katy,
seven fields is lovely! and we like to imagine that oscar is travelling with the wind across the fields, up hills, down valleys, and sometimes caressing your faces as he whizzes by. :)

Thanks for your lovely message! I found your blog on the day you had to break your terrible news, and felt so sorry for what was happening to you. Oscar was such a fantastic boy, too. The worldwide support for you took my breath away.
We're only down in Devon so just a stone's throw away. And thanks for the tip on the WESWATC - I must get in touch with them.
love from Mojo

Hello Katy & Martin:
What a wonderful slide of Oscar's Seven Fields adventures...You're right that's where a little bit of him lives in his fields running in the wind.
We look at his pictures over and over ....WHAT A HAPPY HAPPY BOY..just makes us smile how happy and loved he is.
Love does wonderful things for people and pups. He is a beautiful soul.
Thank you again for sharing with him with us.
Hi Katy...
Thanks for visiting my blog...it was so nice to see your comments!!! Those pictures are so great! I think about Oscar all the time and these pictures really made me smile.
Lots of Licks, Ruby and Michele
Thanks so much for posting those great photos of Oscar enjoying Seven Fields. It reminds me of my boys and their beloved Marymoor Dog Park. He was a very happy doggy and so very much loved. That is obvious. You are wonderful dog parents and we all hope that someday you will be able to provide a loving home for another dog who needs you so much.
We still think about Oscar every day and we realize that every day that we are together is a precious gift.
Sincerest woofers for you, wonderful dog parents,

Such beautiful pictures. I'm sure he is now having fun at his "new" Seven Fields; doing his thing.
Dear Katy and Martin,
I have been a little AWOL with my blog visting and only now read the terrible news. My deepest sympathies to you both. You were oustanding parents and Oscar seemed like a very happy dog.
Only other pet owners can understand that losing a pet is like losing a family member.
I had a Cockatiel (Sweetie-Pie)for 15 years. He was the sweetest most communicative little bird and was the love of my life. When he died I was quite at a loss. I even dreamed about him off and on for months. Funny, I too buried him in the backyard and planted Rose bush above him.
I later read a book titled "Animals as Guides for the Soul" (Susan Chernak McElroy). There was a story in it about losing our pets. The story had a line in it that said something like this "Our pets leave us when they know we are ready to turn the corner on our own." I'm not sure if that is applicable in any way to your experience, but, at the time it made sense in my life and made me feel like he was watching over me somehow.
I also believe that we will all be reunited somewhere, sometime - how could it be any other way?
Be well and please keep blogging.

Katy & Martin,
Thanks again for sharing more Oscar photos with us... Bogart and I love to look at them, Oscar's blog was always one of the few that he would respond to when I played the videos!
I like Lorenza's comment where she said that Oscar is King of the Fields... that has a nice ring to it.

A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.
Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring, it was peace.
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.
Pippin: I didn’t think it would end this way.
Gandalf: End? No, the journey doesn’t end here. Death is just another path . . . one that we must all take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass…
Gandalf: …And then you see it.
Pippin: What, Gandalf? See what?
Gandalf: White shores . . . and beyond. A far green country, under a swift sunrise.
Pippin: Well, that isn’t so bad.
Gandalf: [Softly:] No… No it isn’t.

Oh my gosh, Katy, I still get tears in my eyes every time I think about Oscar. It's amazing to me how much we seem to bond with these beasts we've never had the chance to meet in person (or in dog, as the case may be). My heart is still breaking for you guys, but it sounds like you are working your way through your grief. I hope there is a predecessor to Oscar sometime in your future. You both seem like amazing, dog loving people. That rose bush will be beautiful!

Dear Katy,
The pics of Oscar playing in his favourite place pulled a few heartstrings and made my eyes watery again.. And our memory of your sweet boy is always imaes of him running through the lush green fields.
THanks for continuing to let us know how you are doing! We love to hear about where Oscar liked to play!
That park looks lovely. No wonder why he wanted to run around in it so much!
My mom said she just got back from your country...England, or something like that. And she said it was beautiful. She went all over from Manchester, to Stoke on Trent, to Birmingham, to Stratford On Avon, to Buckinghamshire to London and even Conwy, Wales! And she left me at home! I really wanted to see where Oscar played! But mom just wanted me to tell you that you live in a really pretty country :)
Hi Katy and Martin
Seven Fields looks like a great place for dogs and it will always be a special place for you. We liked the slide show very much and thought a lot about our dear friend.

PS Thank you for visiting my blog and for your birthday wishes.
Katy and Martin
I have to confess - I've wimped out of watching as the tears started after two photos. I don't know how you put it together.
Thanks for taking the time to visit all our blogs and continuing to be part of the community. One day, the pain will start to ease. I'm not sure it ever goes away, it's just less.
Hope you aren't feeling too bad. Kate and Pippa
What nice memories. Our close friends, who are fire fighters, buried their dog's ashes beneath a fire hydrant at their back door. It is a lovely antique collected from the city when they were replaced. I know you will find a special place for Oscar.
Snickers and Sharon
