Spring Cleaning

Why oh why didn't I realise that mum was up to something when she told me I could tear up what was left of my old donut bed yesterday morning. I mean, when I originally started on it, she was all to quick to take it away from me & tick me off, so I should have been suspicious that she was now happy for me to rip the insides out. Stoopid, stoopid Oscar.

But no, my young, naive puppy mind was tricked & I busied myself with tearing it up & having a most enjoyable time with little thought to why mum was trying to distract me.

And look what she did while I wasn't watching! She stole my new bed away & put it in the funny washing robot thing in the kitchen that I like to help mum feed socks to (or more likely rescue socks from, hehehe). My bed had just got to optimum stinkiness & dirtiness after much work & effort from me, so I was not best pleased with mum as you can imagine. I don't want my bed to smell all icky - flowery & clean & girly, I want it to smell of me, all rugged & manly, grrr.

And that's not the worst part, oooooooooh nooooooooo. She also fed all of my toys in there. Again, I had worked hard to ensure they had the optimum amount of drool & gunk on them. Does mum not appreciate my efforts or something. Look at poor Mr Cow's worried face as he dangles there on the line. I tried to reach them to save them from their hanging but they were too far out of reach.

Dino-egg, Do-you-think-he-saurus, Mr Cow, Roger the Reindeer, Alien Ladybird-man., all clean, clean, clean. Even my bandanna with Faya's lovely smell on it got washed, noooooooooooooooo! Why is mum so evil!

Well mum, I gotta tell you, my bed & toys may be clean, but I refuse to join in. I found the stinkiest, muddiest pond I could & waded right on in. Ah, mud, mud, glorious mud! How do you like that mum? Pardon? I can't hear you? What, me in the bath? Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eek, got to run!

Oh don't you hate it when moms clean everything. Dad's are much better about letting things be stinky.

My Human washes all our stuff when they get to smelling really good. Humans have funny noses and don't appreciate good smelling dried dog slobbers.

Mom's can be soooo evil that way! My Mom actually trys to trick me into thinking I have NEW toys by washing my OLD toys. Oh no...you're gonna have to get up pretty early to pull the wool over my eyes.

I'm gonna ask my Mom if I can tear up my bed tonight. Boy did that look like fun!

Thanks for stopping by to sell Hello! Come back soon.

Aww Oscar, you look so HAPPY tearing up that bed, not knowing what the Evil Mom was doing to your precious possessions.... What a sad, sad story. And I think you looked lovely after playing in the mud - not deserving of a nasty bath at all!

Oh NO! My mama took a bunch of my toys away the other day down into the scary basement where I am not allowed but where all delicious and dirty things go, and come back clean! DOOOOOM!

Hee hee, your toys look confused hanging there on that clothesline! You'll have to reacquaint them with the fragrant germs from inside your mouth!! It'll be like having new toys all over again :)

My Mommy sometimes steals all my blankets and toys , and when they return , they don't seem familiar....what is this obsession Umans have with washing everything?Every time we go for a walk, I have to wait by the door 'till she gets a cloth and cleans my feet, my face, and if I've been at the puppy plyground , my whole body....go figure.

don't give up, you'll soon make everything smell wonderful again,

Oscar last week my mum washed one of my beds. I've not slept in it since in protest....I pulled it out the basket, dumped it in the corner of the room and sat in the basket but I don't like the cushion bit anymore!

Mama always washes my stuff too. She lets me watch her throw my stuffies in the big washing machine. I use to really panick but, now I see that she is just sterilizing them for me.

I have to say, I am a picky little thing and like my stuff clean. I don't like to be dirty.

What? How come our apes don't appreciate the lovely smelling crust of drool that forms on the stuffies, giving them just the right texture and odor? They just don't appreciate the finer things in life.
