Pesky Squirrels

I have obviously been doing far too much napping recently, because do you know what I saw this morning?

Evil pesky squirrels in MY garden!! I thought they were supposed to hibernate in winter, but it seems no-one told these guys that.

Whilst I've taken my eye of the ball & been out shopping, having mud baths & playing with my Kong with its' many new tasty fillings, it seems my garden is being invaded. I obviously can't keep watch on MY back garden when I'm out & about, & those sneaky squirrels are obviously more than aware of the fact.

Look, they're eating all the peanuts that mum & dad put out. I'm sure they were supposed to be treats for ME!
And they're on MY grass, in MY mud. If that's not good reason for dad to take the fence down again, then I don't know what is. I need to protect my pawperty from the invaders.

A few well timed barks sent this squirrel scurrying away across the fence tops. For now at least. Seems I'm going to have to keep a much closer eye on things around here.

I really don't care much for squirrels. Half the time I am oblivious to them. I would probably care if they tried to eat my food though.

Oscar,
Any time you need a little hunting help, just call on Snickers. Rat Terriers love hunting and shaking their catch!

Oh those evil squirrels Oscar! My big brother Tramp (who isn't with us anymore) didn't like it when intruders came into our garden or past our house either. I only just found your blog after spotting you on Dogster it's nice to read about your adventures! It's very sad that your first mummy and daddy couldn't keep you but you're very lucky to have a nice home in swindon now!

lots of licks

Maggie - all the peanuts have gone for now so they haven't been back!

Butchy & Snickers - Chase the rabbit away! I eat the shrubs for mum & dad so I don't need a rabbit's help!

Chelsea - Ooh, yes food is precious & must not be stolen by pesky squirrels

Buster - How can you not chase? They're just SOOOOOOOOO annoying!

Joey - Did you see Bogart got pooped on by en evil pigeon?

Sharon - Snickers can come by & help anytime

Rachael & Moxie - I just bark at the window at the moment while I hatch my master plan

Super Boy & Baby - Yeah, better keep a bit quiet or they'll be cutting down on my internet time

FuFu - I bet you LOVE peanuts! I would share with you

Simba - Too right, they so don't play fair!

Marvin - Did you taste a squirrel?

Boo - Ooh no, I didn't hear that about Sunshade. That's bad. My feet are just resting on the sofa. it's comfy to sleep like that!

Toby - I'm glad to have you as a new friend. My new mum & dad are the best (most of the time!)
